10 vols. in 5. Sm. thick 8vo. 495 engraved plates [only of 500] including several letterpress tailpieces. Some offsetting and browning, with the bookplates of William Graham Crum Thornliebank, marbled e.ps., bound in early gilt rule edged calf boards with dec. corners by B. Frye, minor marking and wear with sl. fading, rebacked in modern crushed morocco with dec. gilt filleted raised bands and gilt lettered labels to spines. One of the beautifully produced works on topography and architecture of the early C19th, drawn and engraved on a small scale, distinguished for extreme accuracy and beauty of finish.
