Some light browning, faint inscription and light stain to flyleaf, bound in the gilt rule edged C20th dark green half calf with red cloth boards, gilt ruling and gilt lettered labels to very sunned spine. Robert Hasell Newell (17881852), artist and author. ODNB ... Newell was a good amateur artist, having studied under the watercolourist William Payne (fl. 1800). ...
