Scott, rebound in C20th gilt rule edged calf backed marbled boards, gilt rule edged raised bands and gilt lettered title label to lightly stained spine. This edition was published without plates. Relating extensive visits to Pitcairn Island, Easter Island, the Tuamotu Archipelago, The Society Islands, the Mangareva (Gambier) Islands, and Tahiti, Alaska, Hawaii, Macoa, Okinawa, and the coast of California.
