Ex.-lib. with label to front pastedown in vol. 1, remains of labels to front e.ps. in vol. 2, light marginal browning and some spotting, ink stamps to t.ps., several mainly marginal ink stamps throughout, lower edged of first few leaves in vol. 1 sl. ragged with repair to tail of dedication, later e.ps., bound in later half calf with cloth boards, raised bands blind motifs and gilt title to spines, corners and spines rubbed, accession nos. to tail of spines.
