ESTC T127188. ‘A gentleman of the partie = Jonas Hanway. A divisional title: ’An essay on tea: .. ’ and a leaf of contents bound between leaf Dd and Dd2.’ Upcott xxxvii 1757 second edition. Joseph Hanway (1712-1786), traveller and philanthropist, the first man to use the umbrella in London.
