On board were Rodney, in command, the author and one other guest, the sailing master, mate, crew of eight seamen, cook, steward, and boy. Iris sailed from Greenwich to Christiansand, Elsinore, Copenhagen, Falkenborg, Gotteborg, Chrisitiana, Fredrecksvaern, Larvig, Boom, Gron Fjord, Bergen, Scarborough, Yarmouth Roads, and back to Greenwich.’
