First edition of this rare and informative little treatise on the iron trade, especially with reference to Sweden, and on the economics of French iron manufacture; written to protest a proposed French tariff on iron imports. The folding tables contain detailed prices current for Swedish iron from 1801 to 1814; the text gives detailed accounts of French iron production.
