Glanusk Ed. 3 vols. 4to. Port., plan, [lacking folding map], 44 plates [only of 50]. Some light browning, with institutional bookplates, ink stamps to margins of plates, contemporary gilt lettered leather backed cloth boards, blind institution stamp to boards, spine and corners rubbed, loss to splitting spines. Volume 4 was published in 1930. Still the standard work on the county, comprehensive and scholarly, despite some bias, it is still the most noteworthy of Welsh county histories.
